It's about time.  I wonder if they overclock any better than the B2s.
199.99 isn't bad for a quad core processor.

Most sites show about an extra 100-200 potential.
They should likely drop quite a bit from $199 in a few weeks.

    Pros: AMD finally fixed it.
Cons: Should've gotten here sooner. And I want one.
Other Thoughts: How well will sales of this CPU take off? I'm sure that the 9850BE will make a killing.

well even the Barcelona is back and not a moment too soon. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819105192

Also the main thing for the B3 stepping was to get rid of the TLB Erratum not provide better overclock. And the Phenom X4 9850 is thremally capible of only 61c where my 9600 is 70c. come on AMD. How come the 9600 is 70c and the 9850 61c?

I rly wish AMD would step up their game here. hell i had to switch to intel for a decent quad core :( . This new B3 stepping or revision or w.e it is doesn't seem like the step they need to take. The need a complete revision of their chips, and they need to not put out faulty hardware just to have a quadcore on the market. If i knew that i could get a real, nice, o/c able, and competent quad core from AMD, i would be willing to wait a year and pay 500 for it. forget this half-assed stuff they are pulling. i want a real chip  :pfff:
