Hi, I am the proud new owner of a Visiontek Radeon 3870. This is the first time I've built a system, so I really don't know where the temps should be. I have found that when it is just idling, I get 43 degrees Celcius. When Playing Crisis on 1680x1050 resolution with all settins on high, and AAx2, It gets all the way up to 64 C. Is that high?

63C is 145 Farenheit. That sounds high to me. I have an antec 900 case, and all my fans are on high - what else can I do to get these temps down?

How do you know what your temps are during play? Do you simply Esc out of the game and check what Speed fan is posting?

Get RivaTuner and google search for RivaTuner GPU Temp or similar to get a display of your gpu temp overlaid onto the game :wahoo:
