I do prefer gaming on a pc over consoles, but the one thing I do miss out on is fluidity. I'm not talking about fps, my fps is above 60 for any of the games I play.
I have a dell 17" lcd monitor (no idea what the model is) that I got 4 years ago. When I look around (move the mouse) in games, its not a smooth motion that you would see from console first person shooters, it's more of a choppy movement, not fluid at all.
Now what I'm wondering is, is it that I have a **** monitor? or is it that all lcd's are like that?
depends what this choppy is...one things is v-sync related when it is off... another is lack of ram..and lack of video ram when you play on high textures. These defects generally show good fps with very frequent hiccups. Lcds with high response time tend to give ghosting when you move mouse rapidly but dont make it choppy.
