Archived from groups: comp.sys.palmtops (More info?)
Hi,
a friend bought a palmtop with GPS, but we have a problem using the
MapSonic software. When we use the MapStore software to put maps on the
palmtop (the SD disk) via the cable, the maps aren't usable in the
MapSonic software.
We can see that there is less free space on the disk, but we can't see
any data on the disk.
Something that seemed odd, is that the SD drive was called SD_1 through
to SD_6, every time it was removed.
The device is a PalmOne Tungsten E with PalmOS 5.2.1 with MapSonic 1.2.
The SD card is a Pretec model.
Does anybody know about problems with this? Or solutions?
