None of them are ideal. The 2x1gb sticks have lower timings, but they're 2x1. 2x2 sticks have poor timing.
Consider those, both 2x2 sticks:1066mhz, 5/5/5/15 timing at 2.0vhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820146785800mhz, 5/4/4/12 timing at 2.0v, easily overclockable to 1066mhzhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820144216

the a-data has a 4 gig kit (2x 2gb) with a timing of 4-4-4-12 for $80. great deal.

It's good. Although you can get better timing at that price.
