What is the best chipset for AMD AM2/AM2+ socket motherboard with PCI Express 2.0 with or without SLI? Also who makes the better boards Asus, DFI, MSI or Gigabyte?

a good option is the biostar a770 am2+ motherboard

I've had faith in asus but after i got a faulty M3A motherboard, i can't recommend them, I've use biostar and msi with no problems before.

I wouldn't throw asus out of the picture for one faulty board, it happens with all companies, i've had 3 asus boards in the past and they've all surpassed expectations.

Asides from that, what other specifications would appeal to you? Is overclocking important? number of sata connectors?
