After using air for years I am now looking for a change and more cooling performance. I basicly cant decide what parts I should use.

What I want to cool is my CPU and my northbridge. I have been looking at the Gigabyte 3D Galaxy II set for the CPU and then adding some tubes and a NB waterblock to that set. But what waterblock would be best? And is this possible or should I go for another set?
My budget is around 250 euro max.

This would work better for you than the Gigabyte kit:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-014-SW&groupid=701&catid=193&subcat=1038&name=Swiftech%20H2O-220%20Apex%20Ultra%20Watercooling%20Kit%20(Socket%20462/478/LGA775/754/939/940)
All you will need to buy to cool your northbridge with the above kit is this:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-018-SW&groupid=701&catid=193&subcat=1036&name=Swiftech%20MCW30%20Chipset%20Waterblock
And you can get both for below £250.
