Now that 8Gb is an option for 64bit OS is there anyone that has had experience overclocking 4 - 2Gb sticks of DDR2 800.

I currently have a Q6600 with 4Gb Patriot DDR2 800 at 4-4-4-12 on an Asus P5K Premium. I have managed 3Ghz on air and really that is about all I hope to achieve. I also have Vista Ultimate 64.

Any input and experience on any mild overclocking configuration would be great. Anyone using this MOBO setup using 8Gb would be a bonus.

Thanks guys! Cheers!

If you go to 4 modules, you should be able to maintain a 333 FSB. However, you may need to increase your memory controller voltage over stock.
