It's there latest GPU thats still in its prototype phase... I've heard rumors that its forged in a volcano and only mythical griffins can swoop down into the core of the volcano to fetch these new ungodly GPUs.

Just kidding... I have no clue either. I've heard whispers here and there but I'm about as clueless as you are.

I bet it'll be four 8800 GTS cards taped together into a cuboid with a fan at either end.

The 10800 GX4 (Wind Tunnel edition). Another "innovation" by Nvidia!!!

Google it, cause that's all there is to 'know'. [:thegreatgrapeape:2]

Second thing, you're probably confusing the G100/T200 name, the G200 wasn't a fleshed out part when people were talking about it previously (before Larrabee & Fusion started taking shape), while the G100/T200 has more leaked info.

If their migration is from Gxx to Txx numbers plus the D10E type coding, there likely won't be something that's continued to be called a G200, instead being replaced by a T300/D11x type name instead. Similar to how the NV47/48 became the G7x series.

I'm sure it will be fast, the real question is yields Nvidia will be able to get compared to AMD/ATI. If the yields aren't there AMD will be able to control pricing in the market.

Reply to San Pedro

From rumors Ive heard, AMDs yields are really good at this point, and nVidia is suffering like ATI did with the 2900s, and that why as was announced earlier, AMD already has cut prices on the 3xxx series again. And from the early announcements about AMDs brag about taking market share, that this may well continue into the next arch

I've heard that there working on something big but its underground... They have secret plans to overtake the market and there just waiting for the perfect opportunity when ATI and Nvidia are most vulnerable and unexpected.

It's no coincidence that Intel is trying to make room in the GPU market. Could 3DFX have something to do with it?

Don Don DON!
