Ati x1950 pro (stock)
amd x2 4600+ 2.41 (stock)
g.skill 2gb RAM
windows xp pro

Why does the CPU always score so badly during the test? It always says it's doing 0-1 FPS when testing it. I'm kinda new at this 3dmark stuff, sorry.

that cpu just doesnt cut it with the load 3dmark06 wants. Thats similar to the score i was getting with x2 4000 and x1950 pro. jumping up to a 6400+ or high as you can, or switching to quad core will be a big gain. Beyond that time for a new card. depending on the games you play.

Yeah. Your lucky you scored that high. What do you expext from a old card, and old CPU. I only get 2700 with a 8500GT. It dont matter cause I play games on my 360. My computer works fine for a media center.

Yeah, the CPU test in '06 is a tough one. 1-2 fps is what I get with my X2 4600/1950pro, and it is overclocked to 2.8ghz.
I get around 4500 total score, I can get it up to around 5400, but I have to overclock the GPU, and up the CPU to 3 ghz. Only have stock cooling and things start getting warm so I don't run it that high.

Hm, i scored 4200 with my athlon 64 3500+ and my defunct xfx 7900GT.
I also get around 0-1 fps in the cpu bench, buts its quite normal.
You wont get any cpu that will run it at least with 15 fps..it just doesnt exist, atm.

thanks. I just wanted to know because I don't play too many high demanding games. (I only play city of heroes and COD4)

I was seeing people scoring like 12K and I was like wtf?
Thanks again guys!

Dont worry about 0-1 fps on the cpu test i get 1-3 with a 3.0Ghz Q6600 and my overall score is ~16200. Kinda funny that my cpu score is a 4300 and the diff is only 1 or 2 fps.
