I have a Dell vostro 1510 with Windows Vista Home Basic. when I run "Check Disk" without checking "Automatically fix system errors" and "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" the result is as following. But when checking these options it's scheduled to run at next restart. During checking disk after restarting windows the proccess stops at 81percent- No HDD led blink showing hard disk activity or any change in screen. I waited for 3 or 4 houres but nothing happened.
Some problems were found and fixed

If you removed the device or disc before all files were fully written to it, parts of some files might still be missing. If so, go back to the source and recopy those files to your device or disc.
