So I have finally received the bulk of my computer and have assembled it.

The problem is that I can't get anything to pop up on any monitors...
The POST Codes on my motherboard say that everything is fine and that it is BIOS, but I can't continue from there...

Specs Are:
CPU: Intel Quad-Core Q6600 w/Arctic Silver 5
MOBO: aBit IP35 Pro
RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2-800 CL 4-4-4-12
HD: WD 5000AAKS
Optical Drive: Liteon 20x DVD w/Lightscribe
Cooling: AC Freezer Pro 7
Video Card: GIGABYTE Radeon HD 3870 512MB 256bit GDDR3 w/ cooler

I've been out of the practice of running a fresh, new install.
It all seems weird to me. Any another data that I can offer is that I've reseated everything, and repeatedly clear CMOS and rebooted.

Any Help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Try different slot? Wait isn't that board pci-e 1.1 and the card is 2.0?

Yes, indeed the IP35 is PCIe 1.1 and the card is PCIe 2.0. But this won't be a problem. Any PCIe 2.0 card supposed to run in any PCIe 1.1 slot for backward compatibility.

It seems a memory problem to me. Try to check the slotting :) Use one stick first ...

Well guys, thanks for the input! And the info on PCIe 2.0 too!

But I got home from work, mixed up a cocktail to calm my frustration and went to boot up.

I did nothing different last night before I gave up, but now it's working fine.

I'm not complaining, now just to sit through formatting and installation.
With drink in hand, of course!
Thank Again!
