I've a lot of settings configured on my current disk/computer, so I was wondering what the easiest way to change my SSD to OS disk is, and how I can do this without loosing the stuff I got on this (my samsung) disk.
Generally you want to do a fresh install of Windows (or linux/whatever) on the SSD, this means less clutter so less space required and will probably be easier. After the install you can just navigate on the other drive containing your previous system files, and migrate them by hand.

move all the files you want to keep to another drive and run a fresh install of vista on the ssd. Also if you have an os / programs on your secondary drive it will probably be a good idea to move all of that data onto the ssd or an external drive and format it.
