I was thinking about getting the Gigabyte GA P35C-DS3R, iP35 Express, S 775, PCI-Ex16, DDR2/3 1066/1333/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX for my Antec 900 case but I've heard that some of the cables from the case (fans, power button, etc) struggle to reach certain mobos. Has anybody got this mobo in their antec 900? will is be ok?

Thanks,
Ed

well i think every mobo will fit in nicely.the cable problem well i think its more down to the PSU.get a PSU with long cables.but if you dont cable manage them then any PSU will fit any case or mobo.

motherboard choice?well its more important link it to the CPU and you intend.case is second to none.just think if the PSU+mobo+case all fit in nicely, but when you start OC the thing just not doing its job!so better choice on CPU and mobo is more important then anything else when building a PC.

I have chosen my CPU already: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 SLACR, Kentsfield Core, Socket 775, 2.40 GHz 1066MHz 8MB Cache, Retail. I know it will fit the mobo but will the frontpanel cables from the case reach the mobo ok? because i've heard that sometimes they don't.
