Hi all,
I would like to hear your thoughts and suggestion about this build:

Intel Q6600
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
G.Skill DDR2 2x2GB CL4
GeForce 8800GTS 512MB (Probably Zotac)
Western Digital WD1600YS
Sony AD7200A X20 DVD

Any suggestions about case and power supply? Im looking
for the absoulutly the best deal on them , and I dont care about looks.
This is a strictly gaming pc , and Im planning on overclocking , but Im not sure
Im going to buy the cooler straight away.
Thanks in advance.

I would suggest any Corsair power supply. You will probably want at least a 550 watt PSU for that system.

As far as a case... Personally I would get a Cooler Master Centurion 5 series case; probably the 534. If you have a bit more budget, the NZXT Zero is a great case with exceptional cooling.

The rest of the build looks perfect. You really could not have chosen better components or better value. Make sure you get a G0 stepping Q6600 and a good quality cooler (Zalman or Tuniq) for overclocking.

Enjoy your new system!

There's a nice OCZ PSU on sale at newegg right now for 71.99

Also Centurion 5 or 534 is only 40-50 on newegg, but gotta add a fan or two to have good cooling for OC/high end GPU.

Otherwise, you could go for Antec P180 or 900, seen both down around 90-100 lately, sometimes with free shipping, sometimes not.

A third option is the Antec case that comes with 500w psu, that should be enough to power your system and I hear is good value.

edit:
You don't need a huge cooler for Q6600 to get to 3.0 range in OC. I use the AF7Pro and it works perfect. Might be because of Antec P180 case... or the combination.
