Hi, I just installed the ccc 8.3 drivers (from 7.9 ones), and I get a very weird thing happening, basically after i installed the new drivers I get a "safely remove hardware" icon the one one gets while using a flash drive on the taskbar, and in it i see a "ATI Unified AVStream Driver" , and below a bit more info "ATI Unified AVStream Driver at PCI bus 1, device 2, function 0"
I have installed the new drivers, and later on after that i opened my case up to clean it up, and removed my 2900xt(pcixpress) card and cleaned it thouroly, also I swapped my tv wionder 650 from one pci slot lower to another one since I wanted for more air to go into the 2900xt, since I thaught that the position where I palced it last time was a bit restricting the airflow....could this be related?...since i see that "ATI Unified AVStream Driver at PCI bus 1, device 2, function 0" ...so maby it has issues that I just swapped the tv wonder to another slot.
Also I seem to get much worse tv reception, grainy image, so I bet some of the filters do not work, and i upgraded mainly to the 8.3 to get better tv reception(more advanced filteres were suposed to be aded to the 8.3ccc)
Thank You for any suggestions.

Did you uninstall the old 7.9CCC and then reboot into safemode and run Drive Cleaner to get alllll of the old driver files out? If not the old drivers might be causing conflits/problems. I suggest uninstalling the drivers and using Drive Cleaner to get rid of the old junk.
Hey... I have just run across this exact problem. Only I did not alter anything having to do with my ATI graphics card, my ATI TV tuner, or the Catalyst Control Center or the drivers pertaining to any of them... All I did was install a secondary SATA1 hard drive in my case and this problem cropped up. Any ideas?
