There is much more to concider in this, how many drives, how many fans, CPU power draw, any USB devices drawing power from the computer and any case lighting. I can't find the link to a psu calculating site I had. Maybe someone else will have one.

It should be fine, depending on the rest of the system draw(as ^ said).

I am running SLI 8800GT, and OC'ed Q6600, 2 optical drives and two HDD on an Antec TP trio 550W with 41 amps on the 12v rails. I would have bought a bigger one, but had this in stock and it's been totally stable. That's a fairly loaded system and your PSU is about the same, having 40 amps on the 12v. Anyway, IMO yes it should work.
