I need the answer ASAP. I just plugged in another SATA drive. BIOS detects it. Windows detected it, I can see the drive in device manager, used populate and was successful. The problem is windows explorer can't detect my new drive.

I have 2 other drives connected, 1 sata and 1 ide. I think I'm forgetting something but I need the solution immediately. Please help!!!

You might have to go into disk manager and activate the drive (or something like that) I've had to do it before. Type compmgmt.msc into the run dialogue box. Then choose disk management in the console tree. Then find the drive and right click and choose to format it.
