I have two computers; one is wired, the other isn't. My wireless has the WG311v3 card. My situation:

The wired one is 2ghz processor, 1g ram, and wired to a router 5 feet away.
My wireless is 2ghz dual-core processor, 2gig ran, and wireless (WG311v3) about 20 feet away.
I have windstream for my wired, and RoadRunner (Turbo) for my wireless.
On my wired computer, I get 200kb/s download speed.
On my wireless, I get 2.5MB/s download speed.

How come? Wired>Wireless, I thought

Are you sure? Have you done any kind of speed tests?
