2TB Challenge: Western Digital or Seagate?

So now that I got my 1TB drive working, it has filled up pretty fast, and I'm thinking it'll probably be full in a matter of a couple of months.

I was looking into picking up another TB drive, but when I was running 2 500's they were pretty hot, and I am fairly sure one of my SATA ports isn't functioning properly.

So I decided to look into drives with higher capacities (2TB), and came across a couple choices:
Western Digital
http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=576

Seagate
http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/products/desktops/barr...
1.5TB
http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/products/desktops/barr...

So I am basically looking for the best performance : price ratio. I took a look at the hard drive charts here and didn't really understand them, but it appears as if Seagate has better performance.

Neither site posts actual performance specs so I came looking for some professional opinions.

This thread reports problems with the 7200.11 Barracudas. I'd be more comfortable going for the WDs.

The problems were supposed to be fixed with the .12 Barracudas. But for now, I am more comfortable with the WD's.

Hard to answer since the Seagate Barracuda LP 2TB isn' out yet and thus no pricing.

I'd imagine either drive would be great. The specs are nearly identical so barring some unexpected issue popping up I'm going with the cheaper version.

The WD 2TB is currently too expensive so hopefully the Seagate will bring in some competition.
