AA wont turn on w/ 7800GTX

hey guys, i have a 7800GTX and run Crysis(1.2) @ 1024x768 on med and want 2 use some AA 2 get rid of those annoying jagged edges on everything but when i turn it on it says its on. then i go back into the game & i stilll have jagged edges so i go 2 change it & it says its off, but i didnt turn it off. does anyone else have this problem. idk if its a driver issue or a hardware issue, like i no u cant use HDR & AA @ the same time in oblivion on nvidia cards idk if its has to do w/ that tho. dont tell me to upgrade cuz i no i need 2 and i will well r700 @ gt200 come out.

Enabling AA on Crysis with a 7800GTX would be like your graphics card committing suicide.

The reason you have jagged edges is because your resolution is so low... a higher resolution would minimise those jaggies without the need for AA.

However, I believe Crysis uses HDR, which should explain why AA cannot be activated.

My advice would be for you to buy a new video card from the 8800 series, or ATi 3800 series... where enabling AA @ 10 X 7 resolution shouldnt give too much of a performance hit.
