im building a 750$ rig, for little gameing and mostly movies..
ive choose athlon 6000+ for this, what do you think?
ive put 8800gts, kingston value pc5300 2gb ram, GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-DS4

yep. good chip, but beware! You won't be overclocking much with this kid. If you don't already have the RAM, then I would get one of these:

thanks for the advise, but i already have 2 pc5300 rams, so i dont want to mix 2 different speeds....
and im planning to use this pc for about 2-3 years without cpu upgrade..

also will geforce 8800gts 320mb worth it for 150$? any better card for that price?

I was just going to suggest the 9600GT.  A bud of mine bought it and we played F.E.A.R on his wall mounted 37" LCD tv and it played flawlessly and the 19" monitor was running in the other room at the same time...
