I have done a lot of research recently and I think I have a good system put together all I need now is to push the button. So here is what I have got so far:

Case COOLER MASTER RC-690
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811119137

HDD Seagate Barracuda 250gb
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822148262

Optical Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827151154

Monitor Hanns·G HW-191DPB Black 19" 5ms
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824254005

PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139004

RAM CORSAIR XMS2 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820145176

MOBO GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128059

CPU Cooler ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835186134

OS Microsoft Windows Vista 64-Bit Home Premium OEM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6832116204

CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600(Since the E8400s are nowhere to be found)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115017

And some Artic Silver 5

Video Card BFG Tech GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814143119

Or

MSI GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814127323

And the video card I have a question on, should I go for the BFG cause it has the lifetime warranty or the MSI because its cheaper and comes with the free game(Heard anything good about The Witcher?). I also plan to overclock the CPU some so hopefully I will get the GO stepping will the Artic Cooler be a sufficient cooler for the Q6600 or should I get something else? Also I heard the price of the Q6600 is going to come down pretty soon too, do any of you know when that might be so I don't pull the trigger too soon and pay too much, than if I had waited another week or two. Thanks for all the info.

You can get the power supply alot cheaper here;
http://www.buy.com/prod/Corsair-VX [...] 52646.html
I would suggest you get this cooler;
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835233003
If the video card comes with a game you know nothing about, why bother? I would imagine they would perform about the same, don't really know. Until you actually see a price drop on Q6600, I wouldn't say it's going to happen for sure, you may be waiting for nothing, if it does drop, I wouldn't think it would be much.

Yeah I was looking at that cooler as well, but due to the fact that only 28 people reviewed makes my decision on buying it a little less. But is it a newer product? Yes I have seen this Google checkout thing before, but is buy.com a good place to buy stuff from, I always buy stuff from newegg, because I know I'll get it.

The cooler is new, not to many reviews out there and alot of them are from across the pond, here's one of a few threads on another board. They also have a Red Scorpion model, same cooler with a different fan.

EVGA 8800GTS instead of a BFG one (you can step up to a 9800GTX if it turns out to be good)

and try and get a 22" monitor, an 8800GTS isnt going to be challenged by a 19" with 1440x900

get a nice 1680x1050/1920x1200 22" to go with the high end GPU

Yes, I was looking at the EVGA cards as well, but I heard some people have had troubles with the step-up program because everything is back ordered. Plus not having a video card for a week or two will kill me. The monitor is an issue, I have a budget and I should have said that earlier that I want this rig to last sometime. I have Acer 20" thats @ 1680x1050 that I might be able to swap out this 19" one with and pay the difference to my parents.
