Explorer 8

Hello,
I have been trying to download Internet Explorer 8 for my Windows XP and every time I try, I get an error message that there is a newer version already on the computer. I don't have an Explorer Icon like I use to have and have not been able to find anything with "Explorer" on the computer... Any ideas???

The file you're looking for iexplore.exe and it lives in the C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer folder. Navigate to the file, right click it and go to Send to then select Desktop and that creates an icon.
