So lets say you buy a card from evga, then use the step up, can you use step up again after that?

Also, what if you buy like a 9800x2, and then within like 120 days (thats what it says on the site) a better card comes out for less then that. do they give you soem money back?

Thanks

You can only step up once.

You do not get any money back if your step-up card costs less than the one you purchased first. As a matter of fact, you are charged shipping regardless.

I heard a Step Up sequel is on the horizon so yeah use the first step up to get your girlfriend in the 'gooey' mood, and polish her off after sujecting her to the sequel. :)

Also, the Step-Up program can have limited value.

You need to buy the new card from EVGA and pay their "List" price.
This is often well above the retail price.

The result in many cases you will make out better selling your old card and buying a new card from an etailer such as NewEgg.

Sometimes Step-Up works better, but it's not quite a good a deal as it appears on the surface.

EVGA, however, does make very good cards with a great warranty.
Just don't expect Step-Up to be a slick a deal as you may thing.
