Is it possible for a hacker to get into or change the ip address of network storage units, like my Synology DS108J? I have a home lan with Linksys router and DSL.
Since network storage units don't have a firewall (?) are they unprotected from hackers? I know it is a naive question.
Someone changed the ip address of my 108j to a internet address last night. I don't know how.
