Hope you can help.

Got this problem when i play FPS games generally but also on WOW and LOTRO when inside caves.

Those purple eyesores get increasingly worse during gameplay and flicker on and off. Wondered if it was the temperature of my graphics card so i downloaded an applet which told me i was running at 95 degrees.

Anyone have any ideas? I have an XFX GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB, Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, EVGA NForce 680i, 2GB DDR2 -800, Asus MW221 22" LCD. It's not the graphics drivers as i always keep them up to date.

It seems strange that those artifact style objects are all the same shape, and arent ON TOP of the HUD.. instead sitting on the scenery area.

Change a few settings like dynamic lighting, turn it all off infact. drop detail settings to lowest... and ensure your drivers are set to AA OFF AF OFF....

That way you can eliminate what setting is causing the problem.

That's how I'd fix it anyway.
