I have an external hd on my windows pc.When I had to format pc I accidentally left the external connected. I then proceeded to almost format my ext. I hit D then L. It was then I caught myself.Now my etx. is not activated.My pc reads it completely.Every step that could done with device manager and disk mangement.New hardware evens appear in the taskbar. I have recovered some of my files, so they are all intact.What can I do to get my external back functioning right.
