I have an 80gb toshiba notebook drive in an external enclosure (usb powered). I just installed windows 7 beta build 7000, which isn't displaying my external drive under my computer. Whenever I plug the drive in, the system see's that a drive is connected because I get the "safely remove hardware" option. The activity lights on the drive come on, but I have no way of accessing it.

You need to bring up Storage Manager and create a partition on this drive before it will autoload.
