So i just purchased another set of Crucial ballistix PC6400 so i'll have a total of 4GBs. Now i know windows 32bit only utilizes 3 of the 4gbs With all 4 sticks in each bank but will it still run in dual channel mode or just single mode considering it only uses 3 of the 4? Only reason i ask is because im really sketchy on the jump to 64bit. As my knowledge tells me most programs and games are tested only on 32bit.

It will run fine in dual channel mode, i myself have
4GB(4x1GB) OCZ DDR2 800 RAM with no problems on XP 32
btw, i had XP 64 and due to some problems with apps i installed XP32 and i didnt see a difference (3.5GB vs 4GB) So if u ask me i say dont just go with 64bit only for recognition for your RAM because as i said u wont see a noticeable difference
