Abit releases new Fatality motherboard for AMD AM2 processors

Abit has released a new motherboard in its popular Fatal1ty gaming line. The AN9 32X motherboard will support AMD's new socket AM2 processors and will have two full speed X16 PCI Express lanes. Hello,

I'm Starting to buil a new pc, so I thought I'd come here to get a few things clarified.

What is the best DDR2 at this momment? I want to buy the best memmories with Micron D9 and at least 1200FSB!

What is the best X48 motherboard ? I'm thinkin in Rampage Formula or X48-DQ6 but i don't now what buy!?


I will apreciate your help!

X48 isn't out yet, but if X38 is any indication, ASUS & Gigabyte will have good stuff out. ASUS may be geared toward the experienced crowd whereas GB the beginners.

I concur. Gigabyte will no doubt put out an excellent X48 board.

He is right about the memory as well. Crucial makes great stuff.

There does appear to some issues with PC2-8500, just go with PC2 6400. There are 2gb ballistix now;

I may be wrong, but I believe these are the only 2gb sticks with Micron chips.
