RAM advice 800 vs 1066

I was thinking of getting DDR 800 but I found DDR 1066 for about 20$ more. So would be it be good buy. I have a x38 and a q9450.

the 800mhz will get you to 3.2ghz with an overclock without overclocking ram as well...

Whereas the 1066mhz will get you to 4.2ghz... so just depends on how far you want to take it. Generally if you get the 1066mhz and goto say 400mhz FSB (ram at 800) you should be able to lower timings a bit more.

For 20.00 I say go for it. It will give you more options for overclocking.

It wont be easily noticable unless you are doing synthetic benchies

and anything with known brand name will be fine
