I have a friend who picked up a used dell server from his wifes work.  It has a 3.0GHz Xenon cpu and cant remember the socket type, but not 775 (605?).  A side note, the MB supports AGP and PCI-E...

Anyways, he purchase a video card and the PSU in the case didnt provide enough juice (PSU 12v line was 16A and the vid card required 22A)

So he goes out to buy a new one, but the sales guys at fry's says he needs a server psu as a normal ATX wont fit in the case...

He isnt savvy enough to mod the case to make it work.  He is real nervous about hooking up a new PSU....

So where can he get a server style psu?????

some server psu has different connection to the motherboard, if you can find out the motherboard information, it may help to select the psu.
