psu for 8800gtx

Yup the FSP will work. Never heard of them, any reason you chose that one?

These will work as well for a single GTX:
PCP&C 610W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703005
Thermaltake 700w +rebate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153039
Seasonic 650w: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151028

Those 3 are in the same price range as the FSP.

MAZIER: HAHA! I saw in another post someone poked fun at you for always suggesting OCZ.... So this made me chuckle.

I'm just giving you a bunch of crap! haha. They are, im a fan of PC Power and cooling, but are expensive. I think that is the next one I will get. My buddy had one and it blew up and took out his motherboard. Their warranty covers the PSU and anything it blows up. They sent him a new PSU and a warranty check for the cost of his mobo.

FSP isn't the world's greatest OEM either, some of their units have been known to have poor +12v stability in regards to voltage ripple. In all honesty, you won't need more then 600W even with SLI 8800GTXs and a quadcore at 4GHz. Look at the Corsair TX650 or VX550 if you want a quality PSU at the same or lower price. Another good option is the PC Power and Cooling Silencer as posted before. Around 600W range, SeaSonic based units(SeaSonic, Corsair, PC Power and Cooling and some Antec units, but Antec seems to do better in the budget range or 500W ranges) seem to shine, even as high as 750W they seem to be some of the best units on the market.
