Hiya guys. Recnelty upgraded the pc.

Should i wait a while before overclocking my Q6600?

Ive had a play with prime 95 and core temp on standard cooling overclocking it to 3.26GHz (Stable believe it or not on full load) but for obvious reasons ive put it back to std.

Ive got a few bits and bobs to arrive tuesday, a new case, the antec 300 and the Tuinq 150 Cooler.

Depends, if temperatures are safe and you dont go insane voltages, just stay in 1.3-1.4 range there should be no point in waiting tbh. The Q6600 truly shines when overclocked imo. Ofcourse it is voiding your warranty, before you overclock just test it for stability first so you know you wont have to RMA it.
