I am planning to DIY a computer system with E8200, Gigabyte EP35-DS3R, 2X2GB DDR2 800 Memory, Harddisk WD 320GB 16mb buffer. I wanted to buy a 8800GT graphic card, but it is about 175Euro (8800GT 512MB Gigabyte 2xDVI Retail), around 274US Dollar.Compared to this budget, I wanna some suggestions from your guys, do the used 8600GT worth for this price?
If so, I can hold off and upgrade to 9600 or 9800 when the price goes right.
