Disk Boot Failure

I recently built a new computer with 2 hard drives (1 WD HDD and 1 OCZ Vertex SSD). I installed Vista 32-bit on the WD drive (I need to flash the SSD). I had both drives connected through SATA2 when I installed.

Everything worked fine and I installed all my drivers.

Now I am experiencing something weird. When I disconnected the SSD, Vista will not boot! I get a Disk Boot Failure. But this doesn't make any sense to me because I didn't do anything to the SSD yet...

Any thoughts?

Sounds like the OCZ was set as the boot disk (in the BIOS), when Vista was installed, if so it probably put the MBR on it. To fix it you need to boot from the Vista install disk, get to the recovery console, and run Bootrec.
