Search online for recovery options for your model and/or go to Toshiba site and order recovery discs if you have none.

When i turn my laptop on it wouldn't show anything on the LCD screen blank, but the fan works fine. This board issue can be caused by the overheating of the graphic card GPU. My Toshiba Satellite model is L305D-S5934 / motherboard model # is SPS: V000138200.

FIXED: I did repair my board by reballing the GPU AMD Radeon 216-0674024 chip with my achi ir pro sc rework station. Please remember to used a very good thermal paste like Arctic Silver 5 or ARCTIC MX-2 after reballing or re-flowing the GPU chip.

If you don't have a rework station like I do a torch or hot air gun will do the job, please use this video has a guide in repairing your motherboard.
