I am not sure what happened to my external hard drive. It was a Western Digital My Book Premium II...It's a 1 TB Drive..

I cannot access it. When I can see what is on there, it says all except for 71 GB is filled which is what was on it before. However, I can't read any of the files. I can't reformat it via Windows. It says another program is accessing it. I don't see any other programs accessing it. I want to reformat it. I don't care if I lose the data on it. I have a backup of most of the important stuff (I have three external drives)

Any program I can use to force a format of the drive?
