Partition problem

hi, can you help me, because everytime i open my drive partition, another window pop-up telling me what kind of program should i open the partition with...
this kind of thing never happened before. could you help me fix this problem.. tnxs

what are you trying to open? like what kind of file?

Check to see if you accidentally copied an autorun.inf file to the root of that partition. If so, delete it. If it is network drive you may have to un-map it and then re-map it afterwards.
