I was gonna buy 2 8800GTS 512 but in Ireland the 9800GTX and 8800GTS 512 are the same price so I will buy 9800GTX.

 
 
I am surprised! I was expecting it to be much higher, especially since I paid the same for my XFX 8800GTS 512 in January.
 
Still, I'm very pleased with my GTS but with the 9800GTX at that price point there is simply no reason to buy them any more.

Crusoe its just an overclocked 8800GTS so just overclock your GTS and you will have identical performance.

 
True, but the 9800GTX apparently has much higher headroom for overclocking than the GTS.
 
As I originally said I'm not fussed my GTS plays everything at Max and I can even play Cryis at Ultra High (with Shadows and Post processing at Medium).

yep, The GTX will overclock like mad.
 
Will a 550 corsair be sufficient? Does this card actually beat the GTX/ULTRA?

300 isnt bad. i'll know if i'm going with nvidia or ati this summer when it comes time to rebuild. (for some reason, i'm pulling for ati, even though i have used nvidia cards in all of my gaming rigs. the ati card i have now was way too good of a deal to pass up, thats the only reason i have it)  
 
so off topic, anybody know anything about the HD4XXX series thats supposed to be released this summer?
