I have a RAID 0 with two WD Velociraptor. Two month ago I run Diskeeper to defrag the disk, the defragger runs for about 4 minutes then the system hung. I rebooted and one of my disk was signaled as "Degraded" I rebuild the array, did a checkdisk and found a lot of corrupted indexes.

The system run fine so I decided not to format, I run the system for 2 month, I use pc for work all days so it is stable and does not have any problem

Yesterday I did a defrag with windows defrag utility, it finished and when I reboot the system again one of my disk was degraded.

I suspect a defect in the disk, but I did 3 consecutive full check of the disk and it says to me that both disk are good

Any suggestion?

Alk.

It sounds like maybe a flaky RAID controller. You can try an add on RAID card.
