System has recovered from a serious error message

Hello, I get the following error and I have no idea what to do....should I be concerned and I have turned off the automatic restart function so that I can see what the error is...did I do the right thing?

You may want to windows restore to date prior to your error starting.

that would be months ago, I just want to know if anyone has any idea as to what this error refers to.

It is in a temp folder, probably leftover residue from install/uninstall.
Disk cleanup & get rid of it.
