Hi, i want to buy an AMD 5000+ Black Edition CPU and OC it to 3.1ghz. As you can guess this is low budget build. Please tell me what motherboard to get. It should be relatively cheap and able to handle the OCing. I'll be using it with 2G ddr2 @800mhz and probably a 8800gs.

Thank you for your time, take care

Since you're going for the BE any motherboard would do (it's multiplier is unlocked so you don't have to overclock the board).
Any AMD780G/AMD770/nForce5x0a chipset board would be good.
A SLI/CrossFire chipset might offer value for future upgrades.

I have the same question, and while it's good to know there are a lot of choices, a specific especially good quality/value would be nice.

I'm not sure what graphics card I'll use. I sort of have parts for a value system and a nice system, I'd got an 8800 GTS 512MB for the nice system, but might use it in this one for now, rather than buying yet another card. I'm not sure what graphics card the 5000+ is a fit for.

As for SLI, depends if it costs much more or costs other features.
