Ok so my build is almost complete and I know i want to get an X38 motherboard (preferably ASUS) but I've noticed a lot of the boards use stacked SATA ports like these:

I was wondering if anyone has any of these boards (shown are the ABIT Quad GT x38 and ASUS Maximus Formula) with 1 or 2 3870x2's or 8800gtx or other gpu's that hang off the back of the mobo with the SATA ports setup like this and if they block the ports or if they cause fitment issues with the GPU.  Thanks!

:) It's the other way around: regular sata ports can be blocked by large gpu's. *cough* Gigabyte DQ6 *cough* By regular, i mean those that are on most every board: vertical connectors.

yeah i figured the gigabyte setup seemed like the SATA's would be blocked by a big card...just to me the styles above would come in contact with the butt end of the card and make it not seat properly...thanks for the reply!
