Hello.

I've created an arrey of 2 SATA seagate barracuda 80GB disk in a stripe to achieve better disk performances and for testing. After the creation I tried to install Win XP SP2 Pro on it using a floppy for loading both the Nvidia Raid Class and the Nvidia nForce Storage Controller into the XP installer. I created a partition on the RAID and setup rebooted my pc after transfering the installerfiles. When it should start booting from the arrey my pc freezes up with some characters spread on my screen. Because of that I choose to install Win Vista Ultimate 32 bit. Installed just fine but after the second reboot (when I installed the chipset drivers) my pc runs VERRY slow. The boot takes about 2 minutes. After the boot it runs great, but for a short time. When he's running for some minutes it gets even slower. My max transferrate is 0,5MB/sec. I also tried to install Vista without loading the raid drivers into the setup and then it booted at a blazing speed, but the performance when running are still worse. Sometimes it gets a bluescreen after I perform a defrag or something like that. I even can't get my VGA drivers installed because it runs so slow. For the record my HDs are fine since I've installed a XP and Vista on each one seperated. If somewhone could help me. Tanks in advance.
