Hi ppl. I have conected two computers with cross cable.
i set the the following ip adresses on both computers 192.168.1.1 (255.255.255.0) and 192.168.1.2 (255.255.255.0)...

i try to ping and i get TIME REQUEST ERROR. meaning i dont have connection. Why is That????

P.S On one of my computers i am using USB to ethernet adapter...

Have you setup ICS on one computer? You need to do that for it to work.

Check your ICMP settings on network adapters.
You need to have incoming echo requests enabled.
