My computer wont start up everytime

Hello,

so my tower has been giving me trouble, when i try to start it it revs up all the way and stays like that, the moniter doesn't recieve a signal and my local geek doesn't know how to work on it cause it is a little too advanced for him...somtimes it works like nothing is wrong and then when i turn it off it will do that again and no amount of forced shut downs will bring it back. i just have to walk away and magically the problem solves itself after a few days...

When you next get it running, check hard drive for errors, and run a memory test. If you have multiple memory sticks, you could try booting with one, then the other (separately) to see if that is a problem.
