My BIOS resets when I switch my PSU off. Shouldn't that information be saved? Does this just mean my little battery on the mobo is dead? I hate resetting all of my overclock, RAID, and time settings each time the thing is switched off...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's an Asus P5K-e wifi board.

it should be the battery, but once i bought an intel motherboard that had that problem and was a problem with the motherboard itself.

i get that sometimes whit my board... ASUS p5N32E-SLI PLUS.. when i overclock to high and then put a low overclock ... like when i change from a 3.0GHz to a 2.6 GHz the board resets to 2.4GHz (my q6600)

i have to take out the battery and reset the bios :(

lucky for me this doesnt happen when i don't mess with the bios much :)
