2 3870s will perform better than one 9800gtx, as the 9800 use the same g92 core as the 8800gts (g92), with the same 128 stream processors, but running at a higher clock and with higher memory bandwidth. Or you can wait until the ati 4000s come out.

I have a few more ?'s
1)Well i heard alot of people complaining how cf doesnt help in alot of games for example crysis has these issues have they been fixed.
2)I enable aa in most games doesnt the ati card lose alot of performance enabling aa?
3)I have this psu will it handle cf? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817152028

Lets just say i have bad experience with cf i had 2 3850's about 4months ago and i didnt get any benefits from cf.

2 x 3870 is pushing it on that psu...

What card do you have now?

9800gtx is a waste of money, best value right now is a single 8800gts for $208

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814500004

You just cant go wrong at that price and they will play every game perfectly

Right now i have an 8800gts g92 overclocked to 815/1090. What happened is that this card has some issues so newegg is rma if only i chose another graphic card for =340 or greater. I bought the card 3months ago so the price was high so i get the value i bought it for 3months ago, so i can get a sweet upgrade now. =]
so im wondering the 9800gtx is coming out is it worth getting because looking at the spec it seems the same as the 8800gts g92. But im not sure if the made any major improvements like lose less performance when enabling aa or something of that sort. My budget is under 400 for a new card since i already have 340$ credit. So money isnt a big factor since i have to spend around that price range.

Hmmmnnn i say wait for the Radeon 4x series.....anyways if you cannot wait, a pair of 3870s can be had for $160 each. Thats a powerful setup too, especially for that price. Anyways don't jump into buying anything till the 9800gtx benchmarks come...
